Chocolate Chip Cookie
Are you ready to profess your undying love to me?
I'm being serious, I think I may get love notes for this one because no, you didn't read that title incorrectly. I intended to write chocolate chip cookie. As in one cookie. One very big, yummy chocolate chip cookie, the kind you can make, cook and eat and no one ever has to know about.
Do you love me yet? Maybe you will once I give you the recipe...

Chocolate Fudge Crinkle Cookies
I can remember back to when I was really little turning the pages of my mom's red Betty Crocker cookbook. It was my mom's go to cookbook for dessert and bread recipes. I had make the chocolate chip cookie recipe out of the book more times than I can count, but that wasn't the recipe that stuck out to me every time I opened that book. The page before the chocolate chip cookie recipe was a recipe for chocolate crinkle cookies, I would drool over the picture imagining how delicious these cookies must be, but never actually made them. Don't ask me why, I don't know if I ever even asked my mom to make them for me, I just know I have never made them before. A local health food store makes them and they are just delicious and still I have yet to make them.

Almond Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day; pancakes, waffles, crepes, omelettes, hash browns, you name it, I love it all. Up until today I had always thought I made good pancakes, then after watching The Pioneer Woman's new television show I made one slight adjustment to my recipe and voila, my pancakes just got kicked up to a whole new level. It was amazing, who knew that just a little bit of melted butter in the batter would make the pancakes so much more delicious. I owe you Pioneer Woman, this is the second of your tips I've followed just this week and both have turned about to be amazing.
Onto the recipe, who doesn't love a chocolate chip pancake? For me it makes me feel like I'm a kid again. I like to add sliced almonds into the recipe to class it up bit, plus the almonds really add a nice flavor profile to the pancakes. These pancakes are delicious, the next time you have a free morning you must make them.
