Today marks the start of an online bake sale to benefit the daughter of a fellow food blogger. Gerry over at Foodness Gracious is raising money to benefit a 5k walk he is doing to support his daughter and all the other children who have type 1 diabetes. He has even compiled a beautiful video showing his daughter's journey which can be seen here.
Many bloggers are donating a baked good, cookbooks or other item to support the cause. People can bid on the item of their choosing and all the proceeds will be going to support Team Miranda. I myself am donating my chocolate peanut butter fudge. I hope you all will go check it out and support Gerry and his family and bid on an item. This is a great opportunity to support a great cause and fight to find a cure for diabetes.
